Running...
Yeah...running all right. Just not this kind!!
I did run this week, logged 13 miles (yes, Bill, I keep track every day - it helps - even if a 1/4 mile!) so I am keeping on track. On track for what?? Hmmm.
For sure, another 5k, but I want to do something more. I need to have a goal to stick with this. My original goal was to run a mile (never thought a 5k!) So, I am going to aim for solid 5 mile runs by October. I have to have a goal. It feels quite lofty, since I don't know how I will have the time and just as before, it feels impossible! But that makes it all the more fun.
There, I have stated it. I will report back, since this means I have to do a little better each month on distance - and hopefully speed!
So, anyway...though I have been running - I have been RUNNING. You know, kids. Softball. Band. End of school year concerts. Parties, cookouts, new furniture adventures. :)
Today we begin a new month. June is one of my favorites; I love the summer activities and just the beautiful weather that we get to enjoy. Though it will be a busy month, it won't be as filled in the evenings once softball is over in a couple of weeks. We actually won't have evening activities...it will feel like vacation!
However...mark your calendars now...Picnic in the Park will be held on Friday, July 11th, where our band will play at OSU-N and everyone will bring a picnic to enjoy!
In the meantime...I hope to keep you a little more updated on June's progress, better than I did April and May, when I once again suffered the loss of the missing battery pack for my camera, and then my camera itself. Both once again have been recovered, so I'll be back to photo blogging and making sure you see all the details...
Signing off for June 1st!
