Distraction...I need a distraction!!!

Our final destination in California was to bring in 2008 at Disneyland!
This was to anniversary the last Christmas surprise of 2 years ago.
That memorable experience took us to Florida for the week after Christmas, and then onto Disneyworld for New Year's Eve.
How better to bring it in than with a big party, Disney style!!!

We pulled into the Disneyland parking lot. There were blockades everywhere and signs for parking.
And then, we READ the sign.
Yep, that's right.
Disneyland was SOLD OUT for the day.
SOLD OUT!
Ohhhhh nooooooo!!!!!

Imagine the tears and the pouty lip...

I didn't know what to do next...


So we drove by Angel Stadium (woo hoo?)

And took one final look at the bright blue sky with the setting sun behind...
