Our busy 4th of July weekend began with a parade!

Megan had never been in a parade, and it had been years since we had made it to Granville to kick off the 4th of July holiday the way I did growing up...with the "mile-long parade".
We were blessed with the opportunity to support Bryan Long for county recorder and be in the parade!
Megan and I dodged the raindrops and made our way to the trailer to start our day!

Jen Long was a dear babysitter to Megan and Ian, and of course that is my friend Steph in the middle (who is also friends with Jen!)
We got our yellow shirts on and we were ready!

Though the route has changed since I grew up there, much remains the same.
I love the 4th of July!
It's my favorite holiday by far.
