How very kind and thoughtful of our friend!
He had an array of yummy treats for us to enjoy from his very own gardens.
Fuji apples, the favorite salsa, homemade cider, jams, a strawberry-jalpeno-cream cheese treat...
And a glass of wine for mom. :)
Did I mention that Ian (almost single-handedly) ate the entire white dish (pictured below) of salsa?
