An event to remember...

Since February of this year, I have been very blessed to be a part of a special group of people here in Newark, Ohio...the Newark Naz praise team.
This group is among the most talented people I know! I am so very humbled to be a part of it.
If you have never heard us play, check us out some time. We play at 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30 am every Sunday morning at 200 S. Williams Street in Newark (www.newarknaz.org). Oh, and the sermons are pretty great too!! ;)
Anyway...we thought we needed a little fun and fellowship with our fellow team members. I hosted a cookout at my house, complete with a volleyball net (thank you JON and EARL!) and cornhole (who brought it?) and I think some good brats, burgers, and hot dogs. By the way, I learned a lot in these few hours...
1. Most people in this world are competitive when it comes to sports. (I am not).
2. Most people in this world have some kind of athletic coordination (I do not).
3. Certain friends are more competitive than I ever expected in person (they shall remain nameless).
4. I really can fit 18 people on my back deck if I remove all of the furniture! (and thanks Pat, for dressing it up and making it look spiffy!)

Anyway... a few pics to enjoy!
